Covid -19 Updates (IELTS)

The Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has wreaked havoc on many industries. Virtual education has become the new normal, while organisations responsible for conducting scheduled tests and examinations have updated rules and regulations showcasing additional precautions put in place, ensuring safety while taking tests and aiming to get that desired score.

Following the advice by World Health Organisation and local governments, fellow test takers are to adhere to the changes to IELTS test arrangements on examination day.

  1. Test takers will be asked to a sign health declaration form.
  2. Wearing a mask, covering mouth and nose, is essential during all times. You may be requested to remove it during identification or post toilet breaks to confirm identity.
  3.  Test takers to follow basic hygiene practices, such as using hand-sanitiser available at test centers.
  4. Staff and examiners to wear face masks.
  5. Sanitisation of venues before the start of test.
  6. Partitions in computer-delivered IELTS testing centers.
  7.  Social distancing norms have been implemented by reducing test session sizes. There will be lesser number of test takers giving the exam on a test day.

Test-takers if diagnosed with COVID-19 after taking the test need to inform respective test centers for communicating to other test-takers and follow government advice.
